QHP0004: The Strip He Never Tore

The night was nothing special. But the way they felt was.

A classic photo booth strip, undated but likely early 2010s, of two young men. They’re close. Closer than friends are supposed to be. The strip is intact, no creases or tears, despite the owner’s insistence that he’d “gotten rid of everything.”

There’s always one thing you can’t throw out. One moment too full of light. One face that lingers, even after it’s gone.

This artefact was tucked inside the back sleeve of a forgotten notebook, found during a flat clear-out. It was nearly binned with the rest, but at the last second, it wasn’t.
