QHL-0004: Darling Boy

A black-and-white postcard from the 1930s showing a faded seaside scene with striped bathing tents and distant beachgoers. The postcard is water-damaged, with elegant cursive handwriting smudged on the back.

“Darling boy. I saw someone who walked like you this morning. He wore the same hat and the same sullen little smirk. He looked right past me. I almost cried.”

Never posted. Found in a shoebox with theatre programmes.
